The treasure maps are each made up of nine pieces. Each actual map piece is an item, and this means that it can be stolen, traded, sold, auctioned, disintegrated, and so on... so be very careful! Keep all map pieces in your safety deposit box until you are ready to use them.

As the name implies, this was the first map available in Neopia. I never bothered to complete it, but I've been told that all you get is around 10,000 np.

This map leads you to the Brain Tree's hidden horde. You get around 15,000 np and some spooky items.

Laboratory

This leads to the Secret Laboratory. There is a mysterious ray in the lab that you can use once a day on one of your pets. The effects of the ray are random....you could change your pet's species, lose levels, raise stats, and the most popular...turn your pet into a robot. Even though the pieces disappear once you have used them (like the other maps) you will always have access to the lab ray after completing this map.

The Petpet Laboratory map is part of the Secret Laboratory...sort of...
To use the Petpet Laboratory, you must first complete the Secret Laboratory Map. Then you will be able to turn in the Petpet Laboratory Map. As with the Secret Laboratory Map, its effects are totally unpredictable. Also, petpets zapped by this ray are no longer eligible for the PPL award.

This is the map that used to be the easiest to complete. There was a game that gave you a map piece each time you finished it, but Neopets has removed it for some reasone. When you finish it, you get around 15,000 np and some rare items from the Space Faerie.
