As you can see, Terror Mountain (or Winter World, as it is sometimes called) is actually a rather large area. With that in mind, we'll take a leisurely tour through each of the three areas individually.

Located at the base of Terror Mountain, Happy Valley is a scenic, small town to the very north of Neopia Central. It is approximately 130 kilometres southeast of the Ice Caves, and it inhabits many snow loving residents. Happy Valley also serves as a "home base" for many visitors from around all Neopia, many of whom take day trips up to the Ski Slopes or bravely journey to the Cave of the Snowager.
SnowWars II
Lupes and Snow Beasts are on the hunt for snowmen, and it's up to you to protect them! Build snow-block fortresses around as many of your snowmen as possible, then strategically place your catapults in a way that best defends your fortresses. Once your catapults are in place, set your Grundos to work on blasting the opponent's catapults and knocking out the advancing Lupes and Snow Beasts before they can reach your snow fortresses and destroy your snowmen!

There is no better way to start the holidays then with a visit to the Slushie Shop. Crushed ice combined with well over twenty zesty and delightful flavours. This eyrie can hardly wait to introduce you to the remarkable concoctions he has dreamed up. No visions of sugarplums for this busy shopkeeper!

Advent Calendar
Maybe this is the real reason why Happy Valley is so happy. For the whole month of December the Advent Calendar gives items and Neopoints away to all that visit. As you might have guessed, December is the busiest month for Happy Valley.
The Advent Calendar only works in the month of Celebrating (December).
Snow Wars
Based on the strategic skills of Princess Lilac and played in the time honored "battleship" style, this game is an all out war. Can you obliterate your opponent's snow army before he gets yours? With 10 different opponents, Snow Wars is going to keep you busy during your stay in Happy Valley. You may want to bring a hot water bottle...you'll really need to keep that brain from slowing down.

Rink Runner
The Annual Happy Valley Skating competition (Year 5) is not far away, so it's time for you to practice some of your best moves. Use the mouse to direct the Bruce and catch as many notes in as few jumps as possible! The notes will change color over time until they turn red and disappear. Your score at the end of each round will be given to you by three judges.
Be sure to avoid the sharps 
and flats 
.
Over time the ice will crack, and reveal water beneath the rink. If you land in it, you'll sink and be disqualified!
Ice Caves
Location : Deep within a glacier situated
among the mountains of Northern Neopia.
Population : 16,804 (56% Lupe, 23% Bruce
12% Poogle, 5% Chia, 4% Other)
Area : 220 sq. miles
Terrain : Icy with minor vegetation.
Weather : Extremely cold. Occasionally subject
to avalanches and falling rocks.
Government : Constitutional Plutocracy
Located in the mountains of northern Neopia, between Happy Valley and Terror Mountain, is a cavernous region known as the Ice Caves. Despite its remote location, there are a number of excellent activities which occur in the Ice Caves that are sure to please and entertain you. When this area was first discovered, you needed Ice Totems to be able to get in. Ice totems are similar to the Totems you first needed to get to Mystery Island.
The Neopian Neggery
If you've gathered a number of non-magical Neggs (a special egg-shaped fruit) during your travels throughout Neopia, then you might want to come by the Ice Caves and visit the Neggery. Here the Negg Faerie will allow you to take a few of your ordinary Neggs and exchange them for a single Negg that possesses much greater powers.

Cave of the Snowager
A gust of cold wind assaults you as you enter this vast ice cavern. In the center you see a massive pile of treasure... thousands, possibly millions of rare Neopian items, the biggest hoard you have ever seen.
On top of the pile of treasure you see the Snowager, an evil ice worm that lives deep in the Icy Caves of Terror Mountain. If you are lucky, you can enter his cave at certain times and take an item from him. Be warned: if you wake him, his icy blast will reduce your pet to 1 hp.

Arena of Ice
Welcome to the coolest arena in Neopia. Not even the hottest battle can warm things up here...unless it's hot enough to bring the arena crashing down on you. (Not to worry, folks, the arena is perfectly safe for you and your pets. It's your opponent you have to watch out for.)

High atop Winter World stands the massive Terror Mountain. Its soaring, jagged and pointy peaks take up more than 1000 kilometres of the glaciated Winter World. In all its girth, the mountain itself is home to active tidewater glaciers, which are continually changing the shape of the mountain, making it the ultimate and extremely dangerous playground for the infamous Poogle Racers.
Most of the visitors that pass through here come to get away from the city life and wish to enjoy the abundant naturalistic scenes that Terror Mountain has to offer. On clear days Wild Moehogs are often seen on the steep cliffs chomping away at the flora. Poogles, Lupes, and other numerous furbearers, not to mention a few Speckled Usuls are frequently spotted on the mountaintop, while the Lennys nestle in their nests, protecting their young from vicious predators.
Igloo Garage Sale
Ever want to just pick up your things and move? Well, just ask Mika and Carassa how hard that really is. They've been trying to get rid of some of their stuff for a while now, in hopes of moving to a warmer climate. Maybe they have something you need for a real good price. Just one little note, you cannot haggle in this "shop" and you can only get one item each time they stock it. You never know what will show up here, so you may want to drop by from time to time.
Igloo Garage Sale - The Game
Want to give Mika and Carassa a hand with all the stuff in their attic? If you want to help them restock for the garage sale, you will need to help them get things from their attic to the main floor. Use the arrow keys to control Mika left and right to pick up the items that Carassa throws down the screen, and use the up key to jump.
Be careful not to break anything - if you drop five items in any one
level its GAME OVER!
Donny's Toy Repair Shop
When JC broke her favorite red toy car, I knew we were in for trouble...I wanted to simply buy her a new one at the Toy Shop, but she wanted the OLD one. Fortunately, Donny's shop isn't too far from our home on Terror Mountain.
With his typical efficient manner, he declared "Give me one o' yer broken toys, and some neopoints, and I'll see if I can fix it fer ya!"
In almost no time, JC's car was repaired as good as new.
He even repainted it to hide all those nicks and scratches from her attempts
to turn it into a FLYING car...
The Snow Faerie's Quest
Rumour has it that the Snow Faerie has been working on some pretty exciting spells in her icy home on the top of Terror Mountain, she rarely ventures out and has little time to run her own errands...so you're going to have to help her. You may be rewarded very generously. Like most of the other quests, there is a time limit. If you do not find the items in time, you will not get anything...and she will be a bit upset with you.
Shop of Mystery
Tarla the Ixi has set up a "grab bag" type of shop for the curious risk takers on Terror Mountain. Her friends had told her she was silly, that Ixi were best suited to life in Meridell, not on Terror Mountain, but she refused to listen to them. In all honesty, she really would have preferred setting up a shop in a warmer, and less steep area, but for now, this was all that was available. She was quite lucky to get the property at all.
Anyway, if you are feeling curious, you can always buy a mystery item from her shop. You could get something rubbish... or you could get something great!
