As with all good help sites, the pages on the Neopian Educator are always under construction. Suggestions and constructive criticism are always welcome. Simply fill out the automatic comment form.

Because the Lost Desert plot continued until the end of this month, the tour update was postponed to ensure accuracy. It is going to be given high priority for next month, but holidays may interfere with all updates.

Both the avatars and Game Reviews pages have been updated.

Work continues on the upcoming museum. This project is rather large, but at least you can get a quick look at it here. Note that these pages are still very much under construction. If you have anything you’d like to contribute, please send it to: Naomi_Tran@baylor.edu

I created this guide because when I was first playing this game, I got stuck on so many levels. Now that I've completed the game and got the gold trophy, I'm passing on my knowledge. All I ask is that instead of copying it, you link to this page. If you've got any comments or quesitons, feel free to neomail sweet_devil122.

Hannah
As the name suggests, Hannah is the only one required in this level, so you can leave Armin alone. With Hannah, head over to the water, on the right, jumping the spikes and walls as you go. Dive underwater to collect the three treasures on the far right, then jump up and collect the final treasures. Once you have collected them all, head over to the exit, making sure you avoid the spikes once more. Switch to Armin and move him over to the left to complete the level.

Top

Armin
First off, switch to Armin. Crawl through the snow on the left. Run into the walking enemy, and collect the treasures on the left. Make your way back the way you came to the exit.

Top

Icy Boulders
Start off with Hannah. Jump up onto the lowest platform, and push the boulder to the right onto the spikes. Jump up two platforms, and do the same with that boulder also. Jump to the platform on the right, and push that boulder off too. Make sure to watch out for the flying ghost thing! Drop down to the platform directly underneath, and push that boulder off to the left. Jump to the platform the furthest to the right, and push the boulder to the left. Go back to the platform you originally jumped on, and jump to the left to collect the final treasure. Then, make your way to the exit with both Hannah and Armin.

Top

Volley of Arrows
Switch to Armin. Crawl through the snow on the right, and set off the five arrows. Watch out for the middle one, as it releases an arrow straight down instead of a treasure. Collect the treasure, then crawl back to your starting point. Switch back to Hannah. Set off the first arrow, then jump over the metal crates. Set off the remaining two, watching out for the falling boulders, and head to the exit. Switch back to Armin, jump over the crate and the bouders, and complete the level.

Top

It's Dynamite!
Switch to Armin. Run into the dynamite crate from the left, so it sets off the metal dynamite crates. Jump over the boulders, collect the treasure, and run into the enemy. Jump over the crate and go past the door, and crawl into the secret area at the wall. Ignore the dynamite and arrow; Armin can't reach them. Contine to your right, and crawl into the next area. Collect the extra life at the end, then go back to the exit. Switch to Hannah, and go to where Armin is. Set off the arrow. Collect the treasures, then crawl into the dynamite area you saw previously. Jump onto the platform, set off the arrow, and collect the last three treasures. Once you've done that, head back to the exit.

Top

Warm Up
As Hannah, collect the four treasures on the left, then jump up and over the rocks, collecting the treasures. Continue right, avoiding the flying ghost, and climb up the ladder. At the top of the ladder, jump up and to the right into a secret area. Head to the end to collect the gem. Jump over the rocks again, this time heaing left, and jump onto the wooden platform. Continue jumping up until you've reached the top platform, making sure to collect the treasures in the far left ledge. Drop down and head to the exit on the left. Then, switch to Armin. Crawl through the snow on the first level, climb the ladder, then crawl through the snow on the second level. Jump the gap to complete the level.

Top

Snow Beast Attack!
Start as Hannah. Jump up and to the right, over the rocks. Continue right until you reach an arrow. Jump on it to set it off, then switch to Armin. Start the same way as Hannah, but this time go down. Go down the ladder and collect the treasure, then continue to the right. Crawl through the snow, up the ladder, and to the left to set off the next arrow. Quickly move to the right so you avoid any falling boulders, and switch back to Hannah. Jump to the right, up the wooden platforms, and continue to the right to set off the arrow. Once you've done that, switch back to Armin. Head right, and jump up the rocks. When you reach the first gap, drop down, get the treasure, and climb back up the ladder. Continue right, jumping the rest of the gaps. Jump up the rocks at the end, and drop down onto the ladder. Halfway down the ladder, go right into a secret area to collect the gem. Go back up the ladder, this time going right. Jump up the rocks, kill the enemy, and climb the ladder to the exit. Switch back to Hannah. Continue the way Armin went, jumping the first gap, but drop down in the second. Collect the treasure, jump the spikes, and jump back onto the platform. Do the same thing at the next gap. Jump up the rocks, and drop down at the top like you did for Armin. This time, go all the way down the ladder. Collect the treasure, and head to the left. Timing is crucial in this part. I've found it best to follow one of the beasts halfway, then wait. As the other one comes towards you, jump up and to the left. Collect the treasures, and go back to the right. Do the same for the other snow beast. Once that's done, the rest of the level is a piece of cake. Go back to the right, up the ladder, and make your way to the exit.

Top

Spooky Caves
As Hannah, climb the rocks to the left, then jump to your right onto the platform. Set off the arrow, and drop back down. Climb back up the rocks, collect the treasure in the middle, and then climb the ladder. Go to the left, knock the dynamite to set it off, then go to the right and do the same thing. Jump to the right onto the ladder, then to the left. Repeat the same process you did for the lower level, making sure to watch out for the flying ghosts and collecting the treasure as you go. Once you've done that, drop down to the lower left level, and make your way to the door. Switch to Armin. Climb up to the right and collect the treasure if you haven't done so already. Go back down, and climb up and over the rocks on the left. Jump up the rocks on the the left to the dynamite. Crawl into the secret area just below the dynamite on the lower left to collect the final treasures, before heading back to the exit.

Top

Nothing but Nothing
As Hannah, head to the very end of the level. Be careful when you get onto the end ledge - there is a snow beast there that you will need to jump. Jump up the rocks to collect the arrow, and stay there - a whole lot of boulders will be falling down. Once all of the rocks have fallen, switch to Armin. Head to the exit, collecting the treasures on your way.

Top

The Glacier of Doom
As Hannah, jump up and to the right, all the way up to the top of the level. Make sure to be careful, because if you fall you'll land on spikes. Once at the top, jump the snow beast and collect the treasure, before jumping down to the rocks. On the third actual gap (wider than the previous two), drop down to end up at the bottom of the level. Make your way to the exit on the right, before switching to Armin. Armin's task is somewhat easier. Jump down the rocks to the left. Once you are at the bottom, crawl through the snow. Head to the exit, collecting the treasure and destroying the enemies as you go.

Top

Frosty Cavern
Switch to Armin. Push the boulder off the ledge, and drop down to break the arrow. Collect the treasure, before pushing the boulder to the right. Jump down, and collect the three treasures. Kill the enemy, before crawling through the snow to your left. Push the boulder, set off the arrow, then collect the treasures, before crawling back to the right. Continue to the right, and jump onto the platform. Jump across and up to the top, then climb the rocks. Kill the enemy, and set off the arrow. Crawl through the snow on the right, up the ladder, through the snow, and jump on the platform. Jump over to the exit, and switch to Hannah. Jump down to the bottom, and head right to the wooden platforms. Collect any remaining treasures, before jumping up the rocks. (It may take a couple of tries, due to the boulders). Crawl to the middle of the first ledge, and jump through the secret passage to collect the remaining two treasures. Drop back down, and climb up the two ladders, jump onto the boulders, and up onto the ledge, then the wooden platform. Jump across to the exit.

Top

Hannah's Solo Climb
As Hannah, jump down to the left. Make sure you press right as you are falling, or you'll die on the spikes. Jump onto the first platform, then to the left to get the treasure. Repeat this on the other platform for the other treasure. Jump down and hit the two up arrows, and collect the treasure that falls. Continue right and drop down. Once you've landed, crawl into the secret area on the left to collect the gem. Continue to your right, and up the ladder. Crawlover to the other ladder to avoid the flying ghost, and go down the next ladder. Collect the treasure, and climb back up the ladder. Crawl as before, and drop straight down to collect the next treasure. Jump over the spikes, collect the treasure, and crawl to the exit. Switch to Armin, crawl through the snow on the right, and complete the level.

Top

Big Trouble
Switch to Armin. Crawl through the snow, and up the ladder. You need to jump onto the island ledges, so climb a bit higher than them and jump to the right. Do this for both of the islands. Note: You'll have to be quite a way up for the second one. Once you're at the first ledge, leave the ladder. Kill the enemy, and go to the end of the wooden platform. Jump to the very right, and you'll land down on a ledge with treasure. Drop off the ledge, making sure you stay to the very right of the level. Collect the treasure, then crawl through the snow to collect an extra life, before coming back to set off the arrow. Drop off this ledge to go down to the very bottom of the screen. Briefly switch to Hannah to set off the arrow above her, before switching back to Armin. Crawl through the snow again, and climb back up the ladder - this time, past the first ledge, to the very top. Collect the treasure, and go back down the ladder to the ledge under it. Go to the edge, and drop down the gap in the wooden platform. Take both characters to the exit to finish the level.

Top

Fireworks
Switch to Armin. Hit the dynamite from the left to clear some of the spikes. Jump to the next ledge, collect the treasure, and hit the next dynamite. Continue this until you reach the wall on the right hand side. Climb down the ladder, set off the dynamite, and kill the enemy. Hit the next dynamite from the right, then drop down and set off the remaining arrow. Move to the left to avoid the boulders. Once you've collected the treasure, jump up to the left and kill the two enemies. Set off the next lot of dynamite. Go past the ladder to the left, and collect the treasures. Then go back and climb down the ladder. Collect the treasure on the left, before setting off the dynamite. Continue to your right, kill the last enemy, then head to the exit. Switch to Hannah, and take her through the same path Armin took to the exit to complete the level.

Top

Gunther's Revenge
Start off with Hannah. Go to the right and drop down, but straight away press left. You'll hopefully end up in a secret area. Jump up to the left, and keep going left until you get to the end and fall down. Then go right until you hit the arrow. As soon as you hit the arrow though, make sure that you run back left or else you'll fall and get crushed by the rocks. Once they've all fallen, drop down, then set off the dynamite. Go over to the left, collecting the two treasures as you go. Set off the arrow, then go up the ladder. Once you're on the next level, go to the arrow that points up instead of right and set it off. Watch out for the arrow that comes back down. Then go back to the left and set off the other arrow, which will set off the rest of the boxes. You can either collect the treasure or leave them for Armin. Moving on, climb up the next ladder. Here's where you have to be careful. Set off the two arrows up the top, releasing the treasure. Leave them, and the remaining arrows. Go to the left, and crawl into the gap. Don't go any further, or you'll die on the spikes. Just stay there until Armin fixes it. Switch to Armin. Drop down to the bottom of the level. Go the same way as you did with Hannah, making sure you are careful in the water. Climb up the next two ladders, collecting the treasure if you left it. Then, you'll see four arrows. Hit the one second from the right. This will set the other three off, and the dynamite. Collect the treasure, and crawl through the snow. You'll see a boulder. Push that onto the spikes. Then jump up, go to the left, and down the ladder to push the other boulder onto the remaining spikes. Then you can direct Armin to the door. All you have to do next is to crawl out of the gap with Hannah, and make your way to the exit.

Top

Splish Splash
The first rising water level. Start as Hannah. Jump down onto the closest wooden platform, and look down. Once the water has covered about three or four squares, dive into the water. At the very bottom right, just above the spikes, there is a secret passage. Go into it, to the end. Jump up and to the left, and keep going until you reach the top. Set off the arrow, then switch to Armin. Collect the treasure, then crawl through the snow on the left. Drop down to collect the gem, then jump back up via the platforms. Climb up the ladder to the exit, and continue along to the right to collect the treasures before heading back to the exit. Switch back to Hannah, and dive down to collect the rest of the treasures, before heading up to the exit.

Top

Stairs of Death
Switch to Armin. Crawl through the snow to the end, and set off the arrow. Switch back to Hannah. Jump up the mini wooden platforms until you are able to jump to the left and collect the treasure. Once you have done that, jump back to the right and collect the middle treasure. Continue jumping to the right on the larger wooden platforms and collect the next treasure. Set off the arrow, being careful of the other arrow that will come back down. Continue jumping up the platforms. Once you get to the top, continue to the left to collect the last treasures. Head back to the right, and jump down, making sure to stick to the wall. Direct Hannah to the exit to complete the level.

Top

Icy Skeletal Hordes
Switch to Armin. Drop down to the ledge below the starting point, and kill the enemy. Run to the right, and once you've dropped off that ledge crawl through the snow and up the ladder. Collect the treasure before setting off the arrow. Switch to Hannah, and drop down to the very bottom of the level. Collect the two treasures in the water before jumping back up the platforms. Jump to the ledge on the right, and collect the treasures (making sure to avoid the enemy as you go), before continuing on. Climb down the ladder, and collect the treasure in the water. Swim to the right and jump out of the water, making sure you don't set off the arrow. Collect the two treasures in the water to the right. Jump up onto the platforms, and onto the ice on the left. Jump on the arrow to set off the dynamite, then switch back to Armin. Jump up the ice to the right, and kill the enemy. Collect the treasure, then drop down to the next ledge. Run to the right, then jump up the platforms. Kill the two enemies, then head to the exit. Switch back to Hannah. Head to the right to collect the three treasures, then go back to the arrow you left before. Set it off, collect the treasures, then jump up the platforms again to finish the level.

Top

Zig Zag
I don't know how to explain this one. Just run around with Hannah. Make sure to get the treasures at the bottom quickly, as it is a rising water level. Maybe I'll be able to phrase it better another time ;P

Top

Dig It!
Starting with Hannah, climb up the ladder. Collect the treasure, and hit the arrow. Timing is essential here; you're aiming to kill the snow beast with your boulders. Continue climbing up the ladder and set the arrow off. Head to the right, collect the treasures, and go down the middle ladder to the bottom. Collect the treasures at either end, and climb back up the ladder. Go right, and down the other ladder to end up at the exit. Switch to Armin. Crawl through the snow and up the ladders until you reach the end. Jump over the boulders, through the snow, and up the ladder. Jump up and over the ice and make your way down the end ladder, to complete the level.

Top

Icy Islands
Start as Hannah. Jump up and hit the two arrows, then get the two treasures on the platforms to your left and right. Switch to Armin. Jump down to the platform on the left, then down one more. Jump and collect the treasure on the two platforms on your right, before jumping back to the platform on your left, and jumping down again. Collect the treasure, and drop down once more. Jump to the left to the ledge, then drop down. Kill the enemy, collect the treasure, and hit the arrow. Crawl through the snow and kill the next enemy, before crawling through the next part of snow. Go to the very end, and drop down to get the treasure. Drop down again, and quickly press right. Drop down once more, and crawl through the snow. Set off the second arrow (closest to the spikes), then the remaining one. Jump over the boulders and head to the door, then switch to Hannah. Jump to the platform on the right, then jump down. Repeat what you did for Armin, just on the right side this time. Once at the bottom, jump down the gap, and head to the door to finish the level.

Top

Hannah on the Rocks
Jump down to the right, making sure you're pressing left as you fall, or else you'll end up on the spikes. Set off the arrow by the wooden platform. Jump up onto the platform, then onto the ice ledge on the left. Continue jumping up the ledges, until you reach the wall. Jump up onto the one block ledges, so you are next to the wall and as high as you are able to be. Switch to Armin. Run to the left, and jump down the next two ledges until you're on the ground. Run into the enemy, then crawl through the snow and kill the next enemy. Set off the arrows, then continue left, collecting the treasure. Climb up the ladder, kill the enemy, then climb up the next ladder. Collect the three arrows on the right, then run to your left, setting off the arrows as you go. Jump and run to the right again, watching out for the arrows that shoot downwards. Head back to the door, collecting the remaining treasures, before switching to Hannah. Jump into the wall, go left, and drop down to the ground. Climb up the two ladders before proceeding to the exit.

Top

Arrowned
Jump over the ledges to the right. Jump over the first arrow, making sure not to set it off, before setting the second one off. Wait for the explosion to finish, then jump back and set off the first arrow. Push the boulder all the way to the right, onto the spikes. Go back and set off the arrows that are up on the ledges, then collect the treasure. Collect the treasure near the ladder, then climb up the ladder (you'll have to stand on the boulder to jump high enough). Jump across to the two wooden platforms to collect the treasure, before finishing your climb. Keep jumping across the platforms and ledges to your left, until you come to a bunch of arrows. Quickly, jump on the two arrows that point down, then onto the platform and down the ladder. You'll have to do this in one move, or it won't work. Crawl across to the wall, and up the ladder. Jump and collect the treasure on the left wall, then climb up the next ladder. Jump across to the treasures on the platforms, then continue to your right. When you get to the part that looks like this __| press right before jumping. If you don't, you're going to hit the spikes, and die. Keep heading to the right, collecting the treasures, until you reach the exit, before switching to Armin. Jump down and crawl through the snow, collecting all the treasures, until you reach the ladder. Climb up it, then the next one. Jump across to the wooden platform, and then down to the bottom. Crawl through the snow, and set off the arrow, before continuing to the left. Collect the treasure, and climb up the ladder once you reach the end. Continue the same way you went with Hannah to the exit, making sure to collect the final treaures on your way.

Sunken Treasures
Jump off the ledge into the water. Go to your left, and collect the two piles of treasures. Make sure that you get air reguarly, so you don't drown. I found it best to go air-treasure-air-treasure, repeating as necessary ;) Go back to the right, to the very end. Once you reach the ladder, head further down. Do the same as before, getting air, then collecting a pile of treasure, then getting more air. There's air pockets all over the place. Once you've got all the treasures, head back the right and up the ladder, getting air on your way back. Climb all the way up the ladder, and set off the dynamite, before running back to the exit. Switch to Armin, and jump across the gap. Once you've killed the enemy, it's just a matter of running to the exit.

Armin's Task
Straight off, run to the right with Hannah. At some point, you're going to have to duck because of the ghost, so keep this in mind, as it can just spring up on you. Climb up the second ladder, about half way up. If you don't go high enough, the ghost will end up getting you as it flies past. Switch back to Armin, and run to the left. Kill the enemy, and continue until you get to the treasures, before heading back to the right. Again, watch out for the ghost. Climb up the first ladder and crawl through the snow. Carefully jump across the platforms, then crawl through the next lot of snow. Repeat this proceedure until you reach the end, and collect the treasure and the gem, before heading back to the start of that level. Once you're at the ladders, climb up and crawl through the snow on the second level. Keep crawling through the snow, collecting the treasure, and killing the enemies, until you reach the end. Collect the treasure and the extra life, before heading back to the start. Climb up the final ladder and head to the door, then switch to Hannah. Climb up the rest of the ladders, and complete the level.

Free Fall
This level is relatively simple. Just take Armin down the ladder on the left, and climb down until you see a safe ledge. Once you've located one, jump down with Hannah and collect the treasure. Continue this until you get to the bottom, then climb all the way up. Repeat this for the other side, then jump over to the exit to finish the level.

Winter Wonderland
A note of warning for this level: be careful when you are down the bottom half -- there's always ghosts flying constantly. Jump down to your left, then up and over the spike. Jump directly to your left. You'll have to hold the left button down in order to reach the other side. Get the treasure, then jump up to the ledge above. Jump all the way to the left, being careful of the spike, to get the two treasures. Drop down to the bottom, making sure to press right as you fall, then climb up the first ladder. Collect the two treasures, then jump to the ledge on the right to collect the other two. Continue right, and climb up the second ladder. Collect the treasures, then jump to the right again, and collect these treasures. Continue right again, up the next ladder, and collect the two treasures, before climbing down and heading further to the right. Once at the very end, collect the two treasures, before climbing the ladder closest to the wall. Once at the top, jump across the first gap. Drop down the second gap, collect the treasure, then drop down to your right again. Collect this treasure, then drop down before climbing up the furthest ladder again. This time, jump the first two gaps, and drop down in the third gap. Collect this treasure, before dropping down to the ground and heading to the door. I prefer to climb up the ladder closest to the door to avoid being hit by the enemies while I'm waiting, but that's not necessary. Switch to Armin. Head right, and jump across the first gap. Drop down the second, pressing left straight away. Direct both characters to the door to complete the level.

Avalanche!
Go halfway down the ladder with Hannah, before switching to Armin. This is to prevent being killed by the ghost. Crawl through the snow until you reach the ladder on the right, making sure to set off every arrow. Don't linger for too long, since things will drop down. Switch back to Hannah. Jump across to the right, collecting the treasure. Be careful of the ghosts, and the spikes. Jump across to the platform at the end, then up the ladder. This part is a bit tricky. Drop straight down. As soon as you get the first treasure, hit left. As soon as you get the second one, hit right. It might take you a couple of tries. Switch back to Armin. Go down the ladder, and set off the arrow, before switching back to Hannah. Jump across onto the boulders, and set off the second arrow. Switch back to Armin, and jump all the way across to the left, collecting the treasure as you go. Kill the enemy, then set off the arrow. Drop down, then head left to the exit, before switching back to Hannah. Get the last treasure, then head to the exit. Make sure to be careful of the spike as you jump to the door!

Jump
Jump up and hit the wooden box, and get the two treasures. Jump over the spike, and push the boulder to the left until it falls into the spikes. Jump across the gap, and do the same with the next two boulders. Push the fourth boulder off the ledge, and drop down after it. Carefully destroy the dynamite (not neccessary, but it makes things safer), and climb up the ladder on the right. Collect the treasure, before jumping over the spikes and pushing the boulder into them. Jump across the gap, and do the same. Jump to the right (as though you're jumping into the wall -- it's a secret area). Go right until you drop down, then crawl to the left and push the boulder into the spikes to destroy them. Collect the treasure before crawling back into the secret area. Switch to Armin, and follow the path Hannah took. When you reach the end of the second lot of ledges, drop down, and crawl into the secret area. Crawl right to the other side, through the snow at the end, and up the ladder to collect the treasures. Switch back to Hannah, crawl out of the secret area, and set off the arrow. Quickly duck into the secret area so you don't get hit by the falling boxes. Switch to Armin. Climb down the ladder, and carefully set off the dynamite. Collect the treasure, and set off the remaining dynamite, before directing both players to the exit.

Muahaha
Start as Hannah. Head to the right, destroying the crates and setting off the arrows until you get to the edge. Leave the arrow -- destroy the crate, and jump across the gap to set off the other arrow. Once everything has fallen, drop down the gap, collect the treasures, and crawl to your left to the door, before switching to Armin. Go to your left into the secret area, then go all the way to the right. Jump over the boulders (this can take a couple of tries), then crawl through the snow and up the ladder. Crawl through the snow at the top, then collect the treasures and set off the dynamite. Now, this is the fun part. Keep jumping across the ledges, and collect all the treasures. Careful on the ledge with only one block -- it's quite easy to fall. If you do happen to fall, however, just go all the way to the left, drop down to the secret area, and go up the same way you did before. Once you've collected all the treasure, drop down the gap and to the exit to complete the level -- and the game.

NeoHolidays mean NeoLodge Stays!
Protecting your pets while you are gone for the holidays.

It’s that time of the year again…no, not just time to stuff yourself silly or escape from classes but yes, ‘tis the season. ‘Tis also the season for scammers.

Many Neopians are torn between family obligations (and lost computer access) and their desire to make sure their pets are cared for properly. This also brings scammers out of the shadows with offers to “PetSit” the account.

What is PetSitting?

Type 1: In this case, they will post on the boards to ask for someone to look after their pets, collect their daily freebies, or take care of their shop while they are gone. They will want your password before they give you their password, so they "can be sure you want try to take the account." (And if you believe that…)

Type 2: In this case, they will post on the boards to offer to watch pets for players while they are gone. The catch to this is, of course, that to do anything with/to your pets, they need access to your account.

Why is this bad?

For anything like this, you must offer your password (either as a “safety measure” or for them to access your account). This falls under the category of Bad Things Happen Here. Remember rule number one for any password protected site: Never give out your password to anyone. If you voluntarily give your password to anyone for any reason, Neopets cannot be held responsible for any mischief that person may do to or with your account. You’ll be left out in the cold in more ways than one. In the past, scammers have abandoned pets, stripped accounts, posted boards or shop scams and any number of things that result in broken-hearted players returning either to an empty account or a completely frozen account.

But what about my poor pets?

Your pets can be comfortably housed in the NeoLodge.

NeoLodge

The NeoLodge offers a variety of places for your pet to stay when you are planning on being away from Neopia for a while. Your pet can have a vacation of up to 28 days and choose from a variety of activites. Remember that this is the only safe way for your pet to receive the care he or she needs while you are gone. NeoSitters, those offering to "babysit" your pet, are forbidden on Neopets because they are often scammers who will strip your account and sometimes even abandon your pet in the Pound. Besides...doesn't your pet deserve a little pampering while you're gone? Here are a few photos of the room styles you may choose from:

You can even choose an exotic location for your pet to visit:

Cockroach Towers

The Astro-Villa

The Presidential Palace

Located in the Haunted Woods is the famous Cockroach Towers, which is proud of its reputation as the grubbiest flea trap in all of Neopia. Spooks and surprises on every floor. This is the perfect Halloween retreat or great for the adventure seeker.

The Astro-Villa, a truly out of this world neolodge located on the Space Station, is sure to meet all expectations for what a deluxe resort should offer. Though the cost of staying there is quite steep, I give the Astro-Villa my greatest possible recommendation.

Located in the heart of the main shop area is the NeoLodge chain's most glamorous hotel, the Presidential Palace. Famous for its sprawling layout and "spare no expense" attitude, P.J. Grundonn's Presidential Palace is, as they say, simply the best.

Some of the optional activites you may select for your pet include: Fitness Center, Sauna, Video Games, Grooming, Swimming Pool, and many others. Certain pets, like aishas, are not fond of water but love a good video game.

Anyone can afford at least the cheapest rooms after just playing a few games. Currently, there are some sponsor “personality” type games that always give 200 np just for completing one game of 5 questions. Also, there is the monthly 2,000 np giveaway (and one piece of free food for each pet) on the Monthly Freebies page.

As always, play safe and have fun!

Have a recipe you'd like for me to work on? Tell me about it.

Name: Delicious Custard Brulee
Available: From the Main Food Shop
Neopet’s Description: How can you make creme brulee better? Add more custard.
TNE’s Description: Despite its reputation of being difficult to make, creme brulee is actually fairly straightforward...and looks truly impressive.

Ingredients:
·  1 quart heavy whipping cream
·  1 cup sugar
·   1 tsp vanilla
·   12 egg yolks
Additional sugar for caramelizing on the top of the Creme Brulee
Directions:

Preheat oven to 325 degrees and set rack in the middle level. Place a shallow 1 1/2 quart baking dish in a larger pan, such as a roasting pan. (Or use six individual molds.)

Combine cream, sugar and vanilla in a saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring once or twice to dissolve sugar.

Whisk the yolks in a bowl. Whisk the hot cream into the yolks. Skim the surface of the custard mixture and pour it into the mold.

Bake the cream about 1 hour until set, but still very pale on the surface. Remove the mold from the pan of water and cool on a rack. Wrap and refrigerate several hours or overnight.

To caramelize the top of the Creme Brulee, unwrap and blot surface with a paper towel to remove any condensation. Sprinkle an even 1/16-inch layer of sugar on the surface. Run mold under preheated broiler (leave door open) or use a blow torch to caramelize sugar. Serve as soon as sugar hardens.

TNE Teacher’s Pet Award
Have a site you'd like to nominate? Tell me about it.

SleepRuki has lived in the Lost Desert many years and his Temple Help Guide has been a valuable source of information for many a Tomb Raider

Totally lost on the Lost Desert Plot? Can’t find the Nuria statue, let alone make your way through the repository? Are you ready to destroy your useless crystals? This guide is perfect for the plot-challenged player like me. Because of the many images, it will take a bit to load but it is most definitely worth the wait. The clearly labeled images (especially with arrows labeled ‘click here’) are invaluable.

Since it’s a Neopet pet page, you can also post links to it on the boards or in neomail for your friends who may also be struggling.
