There has been a change to the way prizes are awarded for the Mystery Pic competition. The first 250 winners will each get a prize, and everybody who guessed the correct answer will get a share from a 2 Million NP jackpot. (September 24, 2004)
Having trouble with SnowMuncher? Type buuuurrrrrrrrp and your bloat percentage drops just as if you had eaten some Bloat B Gone (be sure to use 4 u's & 8 r's). Note that this only works once per game.

Featured Article: Sickness in Neopia
As many of you know, I’ve been sick for most of August and September. With that in mind, I thought I’d do a quick review of illnesses in Neopia.
From time to time, your pets may become ill as you wander around Neopia. Sometimes these are random events and sometimes you cause your pet to be sick by feeding it certain foods or playing certain games. It is important to treat your pets as soon as possible. Remember, that the longer they remain sick, the unhappier they will become. There is a random event that will actually change your pet’s color if it is too unhappy for too long:

Sometimes your pet may be bloated but that doesn't mean it's sick or that it needs Flat-U-Less pills. It ate too much! Just give it a few days before you feed it again.

Name: Blackberry Sorbet
Available: From the Main Food Shop
Neopet’s Description: Great if you want dessert, but dont want to be too full.
TNE’s Description: A nice, light dessert perfect for fall evenings.
Ingredients:
1 c water
1/2 c sugar
2/3 c orange juice
2 c blackberries
2 tbsp lime juice
Directions:
Bring the water to a boil, stir in sugar, add orange juice, and simmer for 5 minutes.
Cool the syrup and chill in the refrigerator.
Meanwhile, combine the berries and lime juice in a blender or food processor and puree. Do not over process.
Mix the puree and syrup together thoroughly and freeze in an ice cream maker (at least 2 quart) according to
the manufacturer's directions.
Note: Put the blackberry puree through a sieve to remove seeds before combining with syrup, for a smoother sorbet.
