As with all good help sites, the pages on the Neopian Educator are always under construction. Suggestions and constructive criticism are always welcome. Simply fill out the automatic comment form.

The Jelly World page has been updated to show the new game addition…just wish I knew more about this “movie” they mention…

Work continues on the upcoming museum. This project is rather large, but at least you can get a quick look at it here. Note that these pages are still very much under construction. If you have anything you’d like to contribute, please send it to: Naomi_Tran@baylor.edu

*Game guide by katherine676

200m Peanut Dash:

This is a good game that earns you profitable nps. Here's how you play(Red areas are part of the game guide.)

Start by shooting the peanut out of the Elephante's trunk. Click on the left and right arrow keys to power up your throw. Once you get as high as you can, click the up arrow to throw. *I suggest getting someone to help you on this part. Even if you're good at it. A second person can help you go farther on the scale. Remember to hover over the up arrow key, so that when you've reached your highest you can press it quickly without losing speed*

Now help the Puppyblew chase the peanut down using the arrow keys again. Use the right arrow to move the Puppyblew forward in the screen and stay lined up with the shadow. *First move under the shadow(try to stay under or a little bit behind it at ALL  times) After your under the shadow, press the right and left arrows in a rhytom motion. This will not only help you stay in the same place under the shadow, but it will also help you when you are jumping. By doing this, when you jump you do either a 2x Front Flip OR a 2x Backflip. Gous with next tip -->>> *

To avoid the logs, make the Puppyblew jump using one of the following key combinations:

  • Left Up Right => Front Flip
  • Right Up Left => Back Flip
  • Up Right => Straight Jump
  • Left Right Left Right Up => 2x Front Flip
  • Right Left Right Left Up => 2x Backflip
  • *By doing one of these special jumps when getting the peanut you get bonus points!*

Featured Article:

We can’t always help you…

StaggPub is really busy right now, so this month I get to do the article. I was a bit stumped trying to come up with something to talk about. Should I discuss the plotlines? The upcoming return of Sloth? The finally concluded (?) Meridell storyline?

I decided to dig through StaggPub's comment forms file for inspiration...not everyone is very nice about what they send in to us. Most of you are very nice, even when you complain. Some of you, though…sheesh! No wonder I can hear teeth grinding in the office. If it were up to me, I'd throw a bunch of the really rude ones away and flame the ones who sent them. Anyway, I'm going off topic...

One thing I did notice is a sub-file of people who seem to think that we have some sort of access to Neopets that they do not have. They send in pleas to be unfrozen, requests to have access codes resent, complaints about games, pleas for advance notice when Neopets is down for maintenance, and so on and so forth. Perhaps this is what I should clarify...

*clears throat*

The Neopian Educator is not affiliated with Neopets.com in any other way than as a fan/help site.

There...I feel better...

Basically, we don't have any special privileges or access. StaggPub is just another player like you (with, perhaps, the obvious exception of spending WAY too much time online). We can try and answer questions, but you'll have to go through Neopets for account specific problems.

So, now that we've cleared that up, let's go over who to contact for different things. The following links will direct you to the automatic comment form used by Neopets.com.

Account Access: Click this link if you lost your account due to a fake login page or other type of scam and you need help getting it back.

Activation Code Questions: Click this link if you are having problems activating your Neopets account.

Bug Reports: Click this link to report bugs you find on the Neopets.com site.

Frozen: Click this link if your account has been frozen by no fault of your own.

Games: Click this link for questions about games.

Removing your account: Click this link to find out how to delete your Neopets account or unsubscribe from Neopets.com mailings.

Links to these may be found by clicking the “Contact Us“ link at the bottom of every Neopets.com page. Obviously, not all of them are listed above…just the ones dealing with the most common problems.

Hopefully this will help you find who to contact to get the help that we cannot provide...to say nothing of cutting back on our Magic Goop bill from StaggPub's head banging repeatedly on the desk. Ooooops! I think I hear her coming down the stairs. Better dash!

Name: White Chocolate Muffin
Available: From the Bakery
Neopet’s Description: This muffin even has a whole chunk of white chocolate on top.
TNE’s Description: These muffins may be a bit tricky to make, but they certainly taste good enough to make it worth the effort.

Ingredients:

Directions:

Position a rack in the center of the oven and preheat to 375 F.
Lightly butter twelve 1 1/8-by-2 3/4-inch (3-ounce) muffin cups and the edges surrounding the cups.
Paper liners may also be used.
In a large bowl, stir together the flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, salt, and baking soda.
In another bowl, stir together the milk, butter, egg, and vanilla until blended.
Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients. Add the liquid ingredients and stir just to combine.
Do NOT over mix. Stir in half of the white chocolate chunks.
Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin cups. Sprinkle the tops with the remaining white chocolate chunks.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center of one of the muffins comes out clean.
When testing, do not stick toothpick through chocolate chunks.
Cool the muffins in their pans set on a wire rack for 5 minutes.
Remove the muffins from the cups and finish cooling on the wire rack.
Serve warm, or cool completely and store the muffins in an airtight container at room temperature.

Neopet Corner

This month we have a special treat: A help site in German!

This fun little site is created and maintained by Frauke155. Unfortunately, I don’t speak German, but thanks to a handy translation program, I was able to see that it’s a very nice site. I’m really looking forward to seeing more and more languages represented as Neopets becomes a truly world-wide community. Frauke’s site is very eye catching and easy to navigate. No pop-ups and carefully planned graphics make this a fun, quick-loading site…which is great if you are also using a translator at the same time ;)
