• Background
o Father’s Name and Age
Perry mid 60's
o Mother’s Name and Age
Susan mid 60s
o Relationship with Parents
very close. Family is important.
oFamily Income
middle class
o Type of Childhood (Include anything significant or traumatic during childhood, happy or sad, that might affect adult life)
Raised to value, cherish, and protect family, anyone with a blood bond is guaranteed her protection. Her mother tried very hard to raise her as a proper Southern Belle, but fortunately, her father was able to talk her mother out of the things that really made Nomad's skin crawl. To please her parents, she learned to emulate proper "Belle" behavior as needed, but never embraced the mind-set behind it. As a result, she was a bit of a loner and even an outcast growing up. Her high self-esteem pretty much kept her from caring about it, though. In fact, this does assist her ability to adopt mannerisms that will help her blend in with her current surroundings. She grew up in the country near a small town, and those small town views and values tend to shape her outlook.
oNames, ages and current status of Siblings (if Applicable) and Types of Relationships with them:
She has three younger brothers whom she dearly loves and is very protective of the youngest. He's in his early twenties and charms without even realizing it, causing him to have quite a following of unattached females. He is currently not in a relationship...much to the dismay of said unattached females. The two older brothers have stumbled marginally entered the dark hunter world by marrying other squires that Nomad inadvertently introduced them to, but they, like  her parents, remain uninitiated humans.
oOther influential friends/Relatives/Associates:
Her boss, Savitar, is definitely a major influence...as well as the Fates. Shadedom has no appeal to her. Her husband, Polarized is the single most important person in her life, and she insisted that he be given that status in the otherwise all-or-nothing blood oath that Savitar demands from his squires. Secretly, Savitar was pleased that she was willing to stand up to him on that point, but he'll never admit that to her. She's formed attachments to those in her “pack”, the result of a former assignment from Savitar. Her pack currently includes: Shame, her teammate who is also assigned to Savitar; Lilac, a close human squire friend; Darius, the Regis of the pack, marginally classified as an Arcadian Jaguar but technically still bound to the Katagarian Jaguar, Marius; Devin, a Katagarian Jaguar packmate of Marius/Darius and father to Asane and Aidan; Claire, Devin’s mate, Nomad’s squire friend, and mother to Asane and Aidan; Asane and Aidan, two Arcadian Jaguar infants. Jules, another close human squire friend often assigned opposite schedules from the rest of the pack. Wings, an Echo Squire, meaning she’s assigned to a specific DH unlike the other Doreans in the pack; Anagrom, the supply expert squire; V’espera, the Oneroi; and Kiyone, who is both a witch and squire…and was trained by Nomad. In addition to her pack members, Nomad is close to Taz, the witch owner of the local squire-run coffee shop The Heavenly Drop (where Nomad often works), and Spirit, the squire owner of Spellbound, the book store next door.
oFormal Education (if college, include major)
Bachelor of Science, MLS.
oReligion
Christian
o Present Occupation Steps Leading to present position
Although officially employed by a university library, Nomad is also a Dorean Squire...with a twist. Her interest in mythology led her to research areas that accidentally uncovered some carelessly concealed Were activity. While investigating, she drew the attention of Savitar, who has an arrangement with Acheron to pull Doreans for special assignments. He didn't elaborate on the arrangement, and since Ash did confirm the arrangement exists, Nomad wisely chose to accept her additional duties without question...not without occasional complaints, though.
oCurrent Place Of Residence (Describe home in detail)
We've already set this up in the thread. There is a house in NOLA with apartments for us, the villa we bought in ancient Rome during the time frame preferred by Marius's pack, and the "pack headquarters" as designated by Savitar, the hidden island of Nydia that Nomad purchased. Depending on Nomad's current duties, she's most likely to be in NOLA or Nydia.
oIs the Character a Parent?
No
o Type of Vehicle they Drive
Hates driving, so the car doesn't matter. She's much more comfortable on horseback.

• Personal Preferences
o Favorite Color Least Favorite
Blue/Pink
o Style of Dress Jewelry
Prefers outfits with pants as opposed to skirts. Jewelry is out...only wears one ring, her wedding band, and a special protective bracelet specially designed for her current assignment. Very fond of traditional Vietnamese outfit.
oFavorite Foods Drink Least Favorite Food Drink
Very much a 'meat and potatoes' type person, not a real big fan of vegetables. Seldom drinks alcohol and absolutely hates the taste of beer. Enjoys coffee in any form and occasionally wishes caffeine had some sort of effect on her.
oFavorite Movie Least Favorite
Nomad doesn't watch movies...her attention span is too short to enjoy sitting still that long.
oHow Many Languages Does He/She Speak
Mainly English and Vietnamese but can generally get her point across in French and Spanish. Also adept at sign language.
oFavorite Literature
Anything. Nomad loves to read and it's not uncommon for one of her pockets to contain a book of some sort.
oSports
Loves to watch football, but doesn't often get to play because after a few tackles, they decide she's too dangerous.
oFavorite Music Least Favorite
She likes pretty much anything...except country (go figure).
oOther Recreation/ Hobbies/Special interests
Enjoys camping and hunting. She taught herself to crochet one week while trapped indoors. Oddly enough, she finds that, along with cooking and baking to be great stress relievers.
oFavorite places to Vacation or shop
Loves being in the mountains. Hates shopping.

• Personality
* Note that some traits might be considered good or bad depending on the circumstance, situation, character personality and individual need.

o Positive Traits (I.e. Helpful, easygoing sensitive etc.)
Generally laid back and helpful. Protective. She usually easily accepts the flaws of friends/family. VERY loyal to those she cares about.
oNegative Traits (i.e. Unpredictable, Workaholic, nosy etc.)
Can be lazy, bossy, and aggressive on her views. Not a people person. Often sarcastic and cynical.
oPhilosophy (or outlook on life)
Generally lives for the moment. Tomorrow will arrive soon enough and unless in the company of a were (and with prior permission from Savitar) she can alter neither the past or future...so she tries to make the NOW count.
oGoals in Life
She's too present focused for goals
o Goals in Love
Happily married and plans to stay that way.
oGoals in Career
Survive to retirement age.
oAny special feelings/thoughts/convictions
Family (either by blood or through friendship) comes first.
oWhat get the character into trouble (what causes internal or external conflict) and why?
Despite being a rather solitary individual, any perceived attack on family leads to immediate retaliation. This can often cause problems when she doesn't take the time to get all the facts.
oCharacter’s soft Spot (what moves or motivates him/her)
Nomad doesn't trust or like people in general. She would rather keep everyone at a distance and not care about them, but for those whom she does let past her guard, she would give her life and risk her soul to keep safe and happy.
oPet Peeves
Rudeness.
oPet Phrases (lines that might appear often in conversation)
"Works for me."
"At least we're entertaining."
"Never a dull moment."
"It’s always an adventure..."
and Shame’s least favorite, “Let the games begin.”

oGreatest Accomplishment and why does the character believe this to be true:
She believes her recruitment as a Squire to be her greatest accomplishment since she was exposed to DH world through an ambush that both she and her husband barely survived. Incidentally, her husband's family is blue blood, but he had been an uninitiated human until that point.
oWhat Makes them frustrated/fearful/angry/resentful/cry and why:
Not being able to help her family. Put her in a situation where she's helpless and things get ugly.
oWhat were the character’s happiest and saddest moments and why:
Being able to spend relaxed times with her family, especially her husband. Being forced into the company of strangers for extended periods drives her nuts.
oHow does the character feel about money and why
Doesn't really think much about it. As long as she can pay her bills, she's more or less happy.
oWhat’s their current financial situation:
They are actually pretty well off...but she neither knows nor cares. Her husband takes care of the finances.
oName the character’s personal, physical mental and emotional needs:
She's generally low maintenance, but she needs to be needed by her family. As long as she feels she is contributing to their well being, life is good for Nomad.
