Where do I find the answers to the Brain Tree's questions?
The answers to the Brain Tree's questions can be found by talking to some of the other inhabitants of the Haunted Woods. You may need to do something for them before they will tell you the information though :)
To get the answer to Brain Tree quests, you must
feed the Esophagor
twice. There is no other way to get the answer. The answers are randomly generated,
so we can't help you....sorry ![]()
What does a Magical Plushie do?
Magical Plushies have special powers, be careful who you let play with it. If your NeoPet is a different species to the plushie, it could well be transformed. For example a Red Magical Meerca Plushie will turn your Green Shoyru into a Red Meerca if you let him play with it.
Where and what is the Neggery?
The Neggery is located in the Ice Caves. It is run by the Negg Faerie who will reward you handsomely for bringing her rare and wonderful Neggs. For each Negg you bring to her you will receive a number of Negg tokens depending on the rarity and cost of the Negg. These tokens can be exchanged for cool prizes from the Faerie
What are Negg Tokens?
|
Negg Tokens are what you get from the Neggery when you give the Negg Faerie a Negg. She collects Neggs and gives you Negg Tokens in return. She also sells Neggs in exchange for Negg Tokens. Once you have collected enough Negg Tokens, you can trade them in for a VERY RARE Negg (such as a Cool Negg). |

What are Neobadges and buttons?
You can brighten up your shop, web page or noticeboard with a Neobadge or Button. They are basically small Neopet images that link to Neopets. If someone signs up with Neopets after clicking on your Button or Neobadge, you will get a whole range of prizes from Neopoints to rare items. For more details see the Link to Us section. You can get to any of these pages by clicking on the words 'link to us' at the bottom of the yellow side bar. (This is in small text underneath your username and pet's name)
What are Usuki Dolls?
How can anyone not know what Usuki dolls are? They are the latest craze to sweep Neopia. These cute little dolls come in a range of different outfits, complete with all kinds of accessories. Pick yours up at the Usukiland shop now!
Have you seen the Usukiland
Advert?
Usuki's are the "barbie dolls" of Neopets. Lots of people collect the "dolls" and the accessories. Here are a few examples:

What and where are Neocircles?
A Neocircle is a group of web sites that all share the same theme. They are linked by a special HTML code. For example if you were on a Aisha Web Page, you would be able to link to the Aisha Neocircle - this would mean you could see a list of all the Aisha sites in that Neocircle. Its a great way to meet friends, share content and get people to visit your site.
To create your own Neocircle, or find out more about how to join one, click here. Alternatively you can click on the 'link to us' text at the bottom of the yellow side bar. There is a link to Neocircles from there.
What is the Neopedia?
The Neopedia is a collection of interesting stories and articles about the world of Neopia and some of the important characters in it. Think of it as an encyclopedia of Neopets.
What are Faeries?
Faeries are tiny magical creatures that live in Neopia. Meeting one is said to be very lucky indeed, as they can bless your pets with all sorts of powers and abilities. A pet must be strong enough to control the faeries spells though, so if your pet is inexperienced then the faerie may just fly away. There are many different types of faeries with differring powers, abilities and temperaments. To find out more about faeries click here.
What is the referral program?
The referral program is a great way for you to earn Neopoints and prizes simply by having a link to Neopets on your webpage, shop or anywhere on the internet. You can read the full details on the Referral page. You can find this by clicking on the small Link to Us text at the bottom of the yellow sidebar.
What does the Tyrannian Army Rank mean?
The Tyrannian Army Rank shows how well you did in the Great Tyrannian Battle. You can't increase it that much at present as we are at peace. Occasionally you will be able to gain a rank for completing quests.
What is the Grundo Warehouse and where can you get the secret codes?
The Grundo Warehouse is a place to go to redeem your rare item code. You get a rare item code whenever you visit a store selling Neopets merchandise, purchase something there, or support some of our sponsors. These codes can get you anything from a rare plushie to a super cool battledome item!
The following article is from TNE Report Card, the monthly newsletter for this site. If you are interested in subscribing, please sign up by using the Comment form. Click the banner to visit the Warehouse.
Neopets is now selling merchandise in the “real world” in the form of plushies, stickers, note pads, etc. at stores across America. Many of these products have the coveted “Rare Item Codes” that may be redeemed at the Grundo Warehouse for random prizes. These codes are single use items, like paint brushes or books…meaning once they are used, nobody else can get anything with them.
To get a code, you first need to find a store that sells the neopets merchandise. Use the handy Store Locator Map to find the one closest to you. Find one? Good…next step, go to that store and buy at least one item that has the seal: RARE ITEM CODE INSIDE. (Note that plushies do not have these codes because there was no way to secure them.)
For the sake of discussion, we’ll buy a note pad. Now, rush home and take over the computer. Naturally, since your homepage is set to http://www.neopets.com/ all you will need to do is login and come here to the Grundo Warehouse. Open your note pad and find the rare item code. On a note pad, it’s inside the front cover. Carefully type the code into the box, and be sure to include the “ – “. Congratulations, you are now the proud owner of a Massive White Aisha Cake, Chia Comb, or other fine rare item.

On a sad note, I’ve seen some less than honest users offering to sell/trade these codes. Please remember that these codes are single use items. What they don't tell you is they've probably already used the code and thus have rendered it useless to you. You may be giving away valuable items for nothing. I suggest being patient, Neopets will soon have more places to buy merchandise and then you will be able to get a Rare Item Code that you know has not been used.
What does 100K mean?
K when used after a number is an abbreviation of 1000. Therefore 100K is 100,000.
In other words, "k" is an abbreviation of the workd "kilo" which means 1000.
What are the cooking pot recipes?
Pah! I'm not telling you that... they are a secret and you will just have to find them out yourself!
Or you can view TNE's recipe page and get the ones you want.
What is a Nerkmid and how do I get one?
Nerkmids are a type of currency used to pay for the Alien Vending Machine located in the Neopian Bazaar. You can get Nerkmids from other players or by random events.

| These are a few of the types
of Nerkmids you may find. |
The Alien Aisha says, "My great machine will give you the loveliest foods in the world" |
Put a Nerkmid in the machine, and it will dispense rare and exotic foods for your pet. Press the buttons and push the levers for a chance to get a rarer treat. The better the Nerkmid, the better your prize!
Nerkmids are star shaped items that are either found randomly on the site or bought from other users. They are single use items, so be sure you really want to use them before putting them in the machine. Personally, I find them much too valuable to waste on the machine when I so seldom win anything worthwhile. I sell the ones I find.
Where is the Vending Machine?
The Alien Alisha Vending Machine is located on at the Neopian Bazaar. From the main "Shops" page, click on "More Shops" on the left of the map to enter the bazaar.

Where is the Tombola?
The Tombola stall is on Mystery Island. Click on 'Explore' then 'Mystery Island'. The Tombola is towards the lower left hand side of the map.
What is a Tombola?
A tombola is a sort of raffle. You buy a ticket and pick it out of the tombola (the white barrel). If your ticket ends in a 5, 0 or 2 you are a winner.
What is a Tombola Coin?
A Tombola coin used to be what you needed to play Tombola. Now anyone can play Tombola so the coin is just an interesting souveneir from Mystery Island.
Tombola was not always free. In the begining, you had to use special "Tombola Coins" to play. These coins are no longer needed (and don't have any value) but are nice to keep around as conversation pieces or gallery items:

Where is the Hidden Tower?
The Hidden Tower is somewhere in Faerieland. Nobody knows for sure and it is invisible from the outside. My only suggestion is to try exploring the city. You may find it where you least expect it.
The Hidden Tower is found in the Faerie City. It is full of magical but high priced items like Bent Forks that only the very wealthiest of Neopians can afford. (Not mere mortals like you and I) It is fun to look at, though, so click on the banner to pay the Faerie Queen a visit. Drop by the Faerieland portion of our Tour for more information.
Where can I find the rules for Neopets?
There aren't many rules to Neopets, but if you want to know exactly what you can and can't do, feel free to check our Terms and Conditions at any time. You can get to it by clicking on the 'Terms and Conditions' link at the bottom of any page.
Where is Maraqua?
Maraqua is hidden deep under the Neopian Ocean. You can get to these by clicking on 'Explore' in the yellow side bar and then clicking on the blue/purple city in the right hand side of the map.
There used to be an underwater world known as Maraqua. As part of the (never completed) storyline introducing Krawk Island, it was destroyed by a giant whirlpool...presumably by the pirates. Further exploration these days is often hampered by a giant cranky slugaroo:

Go away!
For more information about areas that are still available (like the Bubbling Pit), you may want to drop by the Maraqua portion of the tour.
Where is the Wishing Well?
The Wishing Well is located in the Neopian Bazaar. Just click on "Shops" from the yellow sidebar and then click on the sign "More Shops" on the map that pops up. The Wishing Well is in the top left corner of the new map.

Where is Jelly World?
Jelly World? I have no idea what you are talking about... There is no such thing as Jelly World!
This "hidden" area is not available on any map. Unless you know where it is, you can't get there. The URL for Jelly World is: http://www.neopets.com/jelly/index.phtml
There really isn't much there at this point, but be sure to drop by and pick up your free daily serving of jelly from the Giant Jelly.
Where is the Giant Jelly?
Sitting in the middle of Jelly World is a gigantic jelly... and you know what this means - yes, FREE JELLY for everybody who visits it!!!
If your Neopet is hungry, why not grab a spoon and take some yummy jelly to eat? Simply click the button below for your daily free sample of jelly!
You can pick up one free jelly each day and each jelly is good for two meals. Is your pet tired of omelettes? Drop by for a quick treat.
Where is the Draik Nest?
If you are lucky enough to get a Draik Egg from the food shop, do not feed it to your pet...hatch it here. You will need an original name for your draik, so be sure to have it ready before dropping by...and of course, you must have less than four pets.
Where are the Fungus Caves?
If you somehow get a Krawk petpet from the Tyrannian PetPet store, you can turn it into the pet form by taking it to the Fungus Caves on Krawk Island It is the cave immediately to the left of the Smugglers Cave. You will need to give your petpet an original name and must have room for another pet.
There is also a Neopedia article about it.
How do I find out what foods are gourmet?
Sorry, you will just have to find them all for yourself. Gourmet foods are foods that have a rarity index between 90 and 100! If you really must find out, have a look what the current champions have eaten :)
The Neopian Educator reccomends that you visit NeoItems.net for all your item list needs. It's a very well done site.
Here is a sample of a gourmet food:

What does rarity mean?
Rarity is nothing to do with the rare item codes. Rarity is a simple way of showing how rare an item is. An item is rare if they are harder to get than other items. Usually this will also mean they are more expensive. Whenever you see an items rarity it will be listed as a number. These numbers have the following meanings.
If you have a food that is rarity 90-99 it is considered a Gourmet food and will qualify any Neopet you feed it to in the Gourmet Club
